About Victor

Victor was a truly exceptional person; a devoted son, a loving husband, and a proud father. He was a remarkable individual, a valued colleague, and a passionate mentor who left an indelible mark on his family, friends, and the many communities he served. Known for his kindness and integrity, Victor was deeply committed to lifting up those around him.
During his 12-year career at BMO, Victor most recently served as the Chief Information and Operations Officer for BMO Capital Markets and Commercial Bank. He was an extraordinary leader and a steadfast advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, both in his professional life and his personal endeavours. While technology was Victor’s passion, he was fiercely dedicated to building a more inclusive society, serving as a respected member of numerous councils and boards. Above all, Victor’s legacy is defined by his heart—a legacy the Victor Tung Foundation is proud to honour by turning compassion into action.
